The Slumbering Wood Clan, despite the lackadaisical name, is a clan of doers and thinkers. Members of the clan (apart from some adopted members) are given verbs for names to reflect the clan's active, forward-moving approach to investigating the world and seeking truth at every turn. Some will find that they grow into and embody their names, while others will defy that little bit of destiny conferred on them by their parents. The ultimate goal and honor is to serve the Lightweaver, either by being exalted to her service or by raising and training hatchlings for that purpose.
